In the thoughts of Nate

     So last week my Girlfriend came to visit me and I was super excited because I hadn't seen her since I left for college. She flew in on Friday morning and I had to pick her up at 8 a.m. which was pretty early for me because I had to get up before 7, but I didn't care. Unfortunately, I had class that day so I could really hang out with her until after 1 p.m., but after that, I showed her around the campus and we got some lunch from the cage. After that, I had practice from 6-9 or something like that. After practice, we went out to Fat Rosie and got some very good Mexican food and then we walked around Downtown Naperville for a little bit before going back to my dorm.      The next day we slept in and we decided that we should go to Chicago and see what going on over there because we don't get to go to the city often.  Week 8 of college and I finally have gotten into a good rhythm with school and soccer. Last week my mom and grandparents came to visit me from Ohio and we had a great time. We went out to dinner in downtown Naperville and I might have had the best mac and cheese ever. I forgot the place's name but I will take my girlfriend out there when she comes to visit this weekend. I haven't seen her for a few months, so I'm sure we will also have a great time.  The friendships I've created are becoming stronger, which is good because I was kinda nervous about leaving my old friends behind. Most of my friends are on the soccer team but I'm slowly making friends outside of the team so I don't think I have anything to worry about. However, soccer hasn't gotten any better. I'm still on the reserve team but I've been getting more and more minutes each game and I'm scoring a decent amount. 

 With school being very busy recently, I have found out that it is very important to take advantage of my free time and make the most of it. Some of the things I like to do in my free time are hang out with my friends, play video games, and play soccer. I definitely like to hang out with my friends the most because I think it is the most fun. This could be anything from just chilling in one of our dorm rooms or even going to downtown Naperville or Chicago. I would love to go to Chicago another time because there are a lot of things I would still like to see including the bean. Downtown Naperville is very cool and all but there are limited options for nighttime activities due to the fact that I'm not 21 yet. I love to play my Xbox with my friends from home and the game I would say I play the most is Rocket League. This game is basically car soccer.
